How VELOZ INJECTION Works
- VELOZ INJECTION is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach.

Dosage of VELOZ INJECTION Works
- For Children: The treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in children 12 years and older, the usual recommended dosage is 20 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks. The safety and effectiveness of VELOZ INJECTION in children younger than 12 years of age have not been established.
- For Adults: The usual dosage of VELOZ INJECTION varies depending on the condition being treated. For GERD and peptic ulcers, the usual recommended dose is 20 mg taken orally once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. For Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, the usual recommended starting dose is 60 mg taken orally once daily, with dosage adjustments based on individual patient needs. For preventing NSAID-induced ulcers, the usual recommended dose is 20 mg taken orally once daily.
