In the presence of sexual stimulation, nitric oxide (NO) is released from the nerve endings in the erectile tissue of the penis. This triggers the synthesis of cGMP, which leads to the relaxation of smooth muscles and increased blood flow in the penile arteries. However, the enzyme PDE5 breaks down cGMP, resulting in a decrease in blood flow and loss of erection. TAZZLE 10MG TABLET 10'S inhibits PDE5, preventing the breakdown of cGMP, thereby allowing the cGMP levels to remain elevated. This sustained increase in cGMP levels promotes smooth muscle relaxation, vasodilation, and increased blood flow to the penis, facilitating the achievement and maintenance of an erection.
