About ACTEMRA 400MG/20ML INJECTION
ACTEMRA 400MG INJ contains the active ingredient tocilizumab, a monoclonal antibody. This medication is primarily used to treat moderate to severe active rheumatoid arthritis (RA), especially in patients who do not respond well to other rheumatoid drugs. It also provides treatment for giant cell arteritis, a condition affecting the arteries, as well as children with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) and polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (pJIA), which cause joint pain and swelling in children aged one to two years and older.,Children who are allergic to any ingredients of this medication or have severe infections should consult their doctor before using ACTEMRA 400MG INJ. If an allergic reaction occurs, such as difficulty breathing, chest tightness, rash, itching, hives, swelling of lips, tongue, or face, seek medical attention immediately. Additionally, inform your doctor if you suffer from infections, tuberculosis, intestinal ulcers, diverticulitis, liver disease, cancer, kidney issues, or persistent headaches.
